If you buy LTD deal for any company in the world its features are limited compared regular plan because an LTD plan tools collect a one-time payment which is the lifetime payment for the plan.

But for regular pricing the plan goes for monthly payments. If you compare price the LTD or onetime plan payment is leas than 3/4 months payment of a regular plan. So for onetime payments plan the feature always comes in limited versions.

This is the common practice. Now if you don’t like onetime payments plan you can buy regular plan. But we suggest you to buy LTD plan from Appsumo so you can save a lot of money and when you like it you can upgrade to monthly plan later.

They end with you having no development, only limited functionality that existed at the time of purchase.
And over time, no new functionalities...

There is no functional limitations in Regular version vs AppSumo version. The difference is in the number of monitors, team members and interval time.
GarethPLUSRisul, the best way to handle this is to link to a plan on your website, but specify different limits. As an example, take a look at the Squirrly SEO offer on AppSumo. All tiers link to the Business Plan, but with adjustments to the limits etc. They state this:

* If Plan name changes, deal will be mapped to the new Plan name with all accompanying updates

And I like how they presented the offer, and they kept their promise, even though there was a change in ownership.
