Q: circular camera - and blurring background. Can you give a definite answer on these please?
I believe they are overdue. The circular camera was scheduled to be introduced "later" in 2024, and background blur was suggested at the end of last year to arrive soon. Are there any updates regarding these?

Apr 25, 2025A: They are very much overdue. We are still working on our desktop app that will be released to support circle camera and blurred background as we cannot do circle camera natively in our web app. The desktop app has been pushed back to later this year. We'll have a date soon.
We know it's frustrating but in order to continue to provide this deal on Appsumo, we have to focus on work that preserves our ability to keep our cost low while introducing features. Sometimes we have to make these tough calls.
As an example, we spent 4 months rewriting our recording platform to support many of our customers in countries where upload bandwidth is not great and face frequent reconnection issues. This required us to bring in contractors to support to get this done. This worked helped us lower costs and support those customers but meant we had to trade out features.

It looks like one person is working on this project. It's hard to answer questions... the promised changes were until the end of 2024 and here it is already May 2025. Apsumo should take a look at this project before it's too late. I have nothing against the author but I got fooled by too much advice on appsumo
