I have used many screen recorders, but Vento is simple and powerful at the same time.

I like the 3 options, only screen, only camera, or both.

I like the way it allows me to edit and record again a portion of my video in case there is a mistake.

I like the transcription in case I want to download it too.

In one way or another, let's say it's kind of a like Loom, but one-time payment for a lifetime solution is great.

I like the concept of what Vento offers, but be aware that the recorded output is not Full HD- it barely reaches 1200x800.

I've seen responses from the team suggesting that Full HD recording depends on the user's system resources. However, after multiple tests on a PC with plenty of available resources, the results still fall short of Full HD. This should be made clear before selling the product.

Additionally, all the marketing images show a round camera, yet there's no actual way to achieve this in the app. They also advertise a desktop app, but in reality, recording is only possible through a Chrome extension.

Misleading marketing and unfulfilled promises make this a disappointing purchase.

It's easy to use and flexible enough to make retakes and edits, as well as add chapter titles and CTA links. I believe there's no limit to the number of videos you can upload to share via link. Loom costs $20/month, but Vento offers LTD at a great price. I'm glad I discovered Vento's LTD.

I used it to document my work, to pitch new leads and build short tutorials for customers.

Among the features I use:
- You can edit your video
- You add chapter (hence shorcuts)
- You have full transcript in many languages (I use EN, FR and DE so far)

Simple tool maybe but it reaches all my criterias - which is not always the case on AppSumo ;-)

The editing option is robust but not sure if we crop the video?

Also is there way to show GIF preview when sharing the link in email?
