UX and Onboarding is... horrendous. (but if you ask them, they will tell you nobody has complained and Im wrong)
I tried talking to customer service, which was fairly easy to figure out how to do... but the things they told me to do weren't even possible.
I wanted to navigate the voice clone, and was told its on the dashboard. It is not. The creation of a custom avatar requires you to watch several weird videos they sent me via email.
The tool might be great, but I don't know if it is because the UX is just horrible. the search bar on the dashboard isn't a real search bar, just a decoy graphic. The help button at the bottom of the dash is not a button, just a helpful looking place holder.
I can generate the voice just fine, and its decent because its 11 labs, but anything past the first slide is confusing. I wanted to love it, i really did... but even if theres a castle in the middle of this cardboard box, I would have to tear down the wall to make my own doorway to find it.
video generation is new. I get that. When investing in a software thats early adopter in its function, I have patience for the tool itself to develop further... what I dont have patience for is the UX and onboarding to be so janky.
The last straw for me was my concerns being completely dismissed and being gaslit by them in the following email:
"Hi
what you cannot see? you need to log out and login again. The voice cloning feature is right there in front. UX is perfectly fine. We have not received any complaints since we launched our new UI last year. Please go through the tutorials. The information is provided.
With Love,
Team vidBoard"
I would like to note, I did in fact log out and log back in. It was not there. I am not a newb at software. My guess is that theres a reason all their comments are turned off in their tutorials that are on youtube. And the only way I know that was because I asked and they were sent to me via email. Because the only onboarding is the same each time, and it just says this is the templates. This is the video. This is the xyz. And doesn't tell you how to do anything specific.

There is No search bar on the tool. The help button on the bottom left blue colour. The problem is you did not communicate your issues properly. You did not communicate from your registered email id. All these are essential for us and my team did what was right. your first question was how to make ai avatar - for which we sent you two videos. Thats what is standard operating procedure for any SaaS tool. As regards comments being disabled, that we did because we were being spammed by certain unruly people who had nothing to do with video creation. So again we did not do any thing wrong there as well.
Please try to communicate clearly in your email communications. We may have made a mistake, but the way you communicated was uncalled for as well. I will leave it at that.
