Q: Can I have one channel/lieestream with different personalized ads to each viewer?
I wonder if I could create the following setup with Viloud:
1. Create a channel or livestream to which I may schedule ads slots as part of its programming.
2. (This is my ask) The ads presented on each scheduled slot is different to each viewer.
a. Preferably I would centrally manage and store the ads.
b. But I wouldn’t mind if I need to keep the ads for each viewer local to each of them, Viloud simply pull these at the scheduled slot using a reference path, like https://localserver/ads.
Is this use case supported?

To get different ads displayed per viewer, you should get this from an external Ad Server platform that provides an ad tag URL (in VAST, VPAID or VMAP format) and allows you to customize the ads according to the parameters you need.
Then, you can add this Ad tag to the Viloud Player in a client-side way. Check this help page: https://help.viloud.tv/article/42-how-to-monetize-your-content-with-video-ads
A more advanced way to include ads is server-side through a FAST channel (Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV), it allows you to create a linear TV channel that can be submitted to free TV services like The Roku Channel, Distro TV, Freecast or Tubi, among many others. We include 1 FAST channel with an EPG guide in Tier 10.
A different but easiest way is adding your ads as content and then scheduling them in the programming of the channel, but this way ads will be the same for everyone.
