Q: Session and Sources
We’re currently using Google Analytics (GA4), but I’m looking for a separate tracking tool to run alongside it—mainly for comparison and validation purposes. I came across this platform and had a few questions I’m hoping someone can clarify:
1. How do you track sessions? Is it similar to how GA4 defines sessions?
2. We’re mainly interested in seeing where the sessions are coming from—like Organic Search, Direct, Email, Organic Social, Paid Search, etc. Does this platform support that kind of source/medium breakdown? And is that available in Plan 1/2, or only in Plan 3?
3. If we go over the 50k pageviews limit, is there an option to purchase additional pageviews?
I would appreciate any insights from people who’ve used it. Thanks!

Yes, pretty similar - If a user stops looking at the site for a while, we end the session though and I think Google may leave it as a session for a bit longer than us (just a hunch, but usually I have a bit more sessions in VT than GA4 whereas pageviews are a more similar between the two apps).
2. Yes you can see on all plans
3. Yes, you can buy additional pageviews in the app
Thanks,
