A Solid Frase Addition, Where They Fell Short
I have a handful of AI writers & have tested many. I use to love Frase & unfortunately they teased us with their next-to-perfect writer + group of additional awesome content tools.
WordPlay is here to pick up the slack! I feel WP is by far the easiest to use / one of the best as far as the actual writing goes.
Things I Love So Far:
-UI is decent, simple & straight forward. It's laid out different than all the other AI writers! Sure it needs some polish in some areas, but I think the way WP gets straight to the point, here's what we do & how to do it, 1 2 3 and here's your article, is a huge plus for you guys! (It's so simple my mom could use it.. And that's saying a lot)
-After doing 5 test writes, the writing came out (surprisingly) really good!! I have 4 other writer apps & this one was up there for long form. Possibly the best writing I've seen w/ the least mistakes, or at least the easiest mistakes to fix. It was almost indistinguishable from a real person's writing imo. (Or maybe my real writer was just using WordPlay all this time. Or maybe WordPlay has some guy locked in a room speed writing everyone's blog posts. Not sure, but it's good stuff)
-I fixed maybe 10 or 15 really small things / words in a 1600 word article. Mistakes are expected w/ AI of course, but with WP it's never anything crazy where I have to rewrite more than a couple basic sentences. With other AI's I'm usually tinkering around for several days on a single article, trying to piece whole paragraphs together to get a single decent blog post to read right. WordPlay's came out (basically) finished right out of the gate. I created and edited 3 articles in a couple hours. I'd say they're 87% ready to go, VS other apps that spit out writing that's like 50-60% ready and needs lots of human input.
-I marked 193 words for removal or editing, out of 1643 total words. (To me that's VERY good. Editing was pretty quick and easy)
-Everything passed CopyScape, which in-itself is astounding to me every time.
-Sure, the limits are a little low for the higher than usual introductory price, but it's still 5+ posts per month @ 1,500 or so words. And the writings actually decently good, so it's not like I need to waste credits on replacing entire paragraphs like most other apps. Of course I'm sure this depends heavily on the topic. I'm no content factory, so I'll probably never post 5 a month anyways.
-Overall 8.2 of 10 tacos. Sure there's some room for improvement, but consider me impressed! This might be the deal to stack up on depending on your content needs.
Cant wait to see what's in store for the future of WordPlay. Looking forward to taking this ride with you guys!
