A COPY-PASTE OF LEIGA APP
WorkZappy has potential, great design, nice widgets and better csv import! but after seeing Leiga https://www.leiga.com/ (same app and same company), feels like you’re following the popular pattern: 1 release a copy, 2 sell LTDs making promises, and 3 shut down, so I don’t want lose money/time again.
I was ready to share all the bugs I found after spending all day yesterday importing my work from another task app, but I won’t do it now that I discovered you’re the same company as Leiga.
KEYPOINTS AFTER A POSSIBLE REFUND:
1- Why launch two identical products when, for the end user, are doing the same thing?
You claim they’re for ''different audiences'', but it’s obvious Leiga is your main and stable software (subscription-based and established), while WorkZappy feels like a quick cash & feedback grab experiment. This smells bad and inspires ZERO trust.
2- Roadmap commit to developing and supporting WZ?
3- What exactly will happen to LTD users if WorkZappy shutdown we will have the Leiga license transfer(why not it's the same company)?
4- Do you have any serious plan to protect our investment, or are you just going to leave us behind like so many other SaaS did on AppSumo?
I’d appreciate honest, straightforward answers. The community is tired of losing money on empty promises. Thank you so much in advance :)

May 19, 2025Hey TheGar,
Really appreciate your detailed feedback, and totally understand where you're coming from.
Let me clarify a few things about WorkZappy vs Leiga as clearly and transparently as possible:
While WorkZappy and Leiga may appear visually similar at first glance, they are intentionally built for different audiences with distinct use cases:
🔹 Leiga is designed for technical teams: think devs, product managers, and software-centric workflows.. It includes things like Git integrations, IDE plugins, sprint planning, backlog views, etc.
🔹 WorkZappy came from a different need entirely: many users were asking for a simpler tool for non-technical teams: marketing, operations, HR, creative teams, even sales pipelines and light CRM. So we reimagined the product with those use cases in mind: project templates for non-technical use cases, UI tweaks, and simplified workflows. This is not a quick fork, it’s a focused product we’ve invested serious time and effort into.
Yes, they share a core, because we believe in building solid foundations. But WorkZappy is a separate product with a separate roadmap(https://app.workzappy.com/kanban/share?shareCode=0dcd99026e6645928a465fd63e7c8c84), and we’ve spent a lot of time speaking with users to shape it for this broader audience.
We’re 100% committed to WorkZappy long-term. No plan to shut it down, quite the opposite, we’re actively investing in it, and working with our user community to improve fast. WorkZappy isn’t a side project, it’s a strategic expansion into a new market.
We understand that trust is built over time, and we're here to do that the right way.
We genuinely hope you'll reconsider sharing your feedback, it’s instrumental in helping us improve WorkZappy.
Thank you again for giving us a shot and for keeping it real.
