Q: Changes are no longer available if the plugin is deactivated?
i read on your website that any errors are not permanently fixed, it says that the changes are no longer available if the plugin is deactivated. i assume that the plugin solves this via duplicates in the database. i actually wanted to use it on my websites, but would have deactivated it afterwards because of the performance. i do this with all plugins, e.g. backups. i would now like to know is it the case that duplicates inflate the database and why should this not affect performance?

The plugin uses a scanner to monitor your SSL at all the times. So as soon as you deactivate/uninstall it, it stops working, and it won't let you know if something is wrong with your certificate.
Yes, most of the changes are done on the fly, meaning that after you deactivate the plugin, they will revert. For example, if the plugin changes your URLs from http to https, after you delete the plugin from the site, those URLs will be changed back to the unsecured version.
Thanks for the answer, but I was already aware of this.
My question was actually aimed at the duplicates in the database, here with a focus on size and performance.
On the other hand, I wanted to know whether path changes I have made are also no longer available after deactivation.
Reason: With a large database, deactivation would actually make sense because of the RAM required on the server.

Hi,
Sorry for the late reply.
Size and performance are not an issue; the plugin will not slow your site in any way.
All the changes you make with the help of the plugin will be lost once you remove the plugin.
