Still a lot of longtime problems from a long-time user
This map unfortunately still has a lot of issues that have been reported for YEARS. I used this originally many years ago, in 2018, and had a considerable amount of problems.
I bought it through here hoping it had changed but it hasn't. Still looks the very same and still lots of issues. I think it has potential but I had hoped the developers would have done more to fine tune it but it's really been minimal. They need to spend some time fixing the issues before attempting "roadmap" add-ons. Comments in forum have not been resolved/addressed:
1. Not great on a Mac - tends to have issues if you are a Mac user, i,e. right click doesn't work, reported in 2021. Still an issue today.
2. Clicking markers cause it to zoom out instead of in - still an issue since 2017, no fix in site. Why would you zoom WAY out when clicking on a marker instead of zoom in. This is very poor user experience.
I reported these again because I can't work with it. And there are others but know that you'll be taking a chance. Maybe it's worth it since it's a lifetime license in hopes they step it up. But my thoughts are if issues like these two above, which are big issues, are still not being rectified, then may not be a good choice.
We ended up just making a MyMap with Google maps.
Just use at your own risk. Until they spend some time on these things, I'd pass.

Over the last few years, our team has worked extensively on improving the experience, interface and tools available. Unfortunately, with so many combinations of installation environments, sometimes things can slip past us.
For your specific issues, please find some more insight below:
1. We have a logged bug for click behaviour on Mac devices, which was resolved years ago and validated by the team on Mac-based devices. We do not have any open issues regarding right-click behaviour logged on our internal roadmap, it's possible this is still being reviewed if you reported it recently.
Of course, this may be an issue, and to be sure we look into this promptly, I'm logging this now on our internal roadmap, and assigning a developer to debug this further as a priority.
2. This is controlled by a setting within the map editor, meaning you have full control over how the system manages zoom-on-click. The default value may be further away than your map zoom level, but this can easily be adjusted. We have an option for both marker icon clicks, and marker listing clicks, meaning you can change these independently.
