whats the problem if my 250mb database is now 3gb after 5 days of use. it is also 3gb after deleting the snapshot. now have to delete manaully because my backup program says to big database
Having five sites means you can have five active sites at once. As soon as you deactivate one, the license becomes available again, so you can activate another site with it.
I have two questions regarding the WordPress plugin WP Reset. I usually use WPvivid as a backup plugin and utilize a staging site (WPVivid Staging Option) to test plugins and changes. However, a lot of work could be lost in a staging environment, which is why WP Reset might be useful.
My questions are as follows:
Are there any technical conflicts or issues regarding functionality when using WP Reset in parallel with a staging environment? Can it be ruled out that restore a snapshot of the live site might lead to unintended changes on the staging site? I would appreciate a detailed response to these questions. Or is it perhaps unnecessary to use WP Reset with a staging site?
A: Hi, Since your staging and live sites have different URLs, those are considered different sites by the plugin. This means handling snapshots on one won't affect the other one.
Also, please note that it is not possible to load snapshots from staging back on the live site or vice versa.
Hi, my staging hat the path "my domain/staging/ and runs under the same domain. WP Vivid gives the option, to run the staging on the same system. Is this a problem?
my main concern is whether there are any conflicts. if there are no conflicts, it might still make sense for me to use wpreset to change the staging part via snapshot if necessary. the live part would be at the level of the snapshot anyway, which of course I would have to create beforehand.
ok, but what does that mean? Would WPreset then overwrite the database with the existing snapshot so that the live and staging entries are overwritten? I would like to understand it.
As I said, your live and staging sites would be like two completely different sites. So, you simply wouldn't be able to combine one snapshot with another site. There wouldn't be conflicts - you simply wouldn't be able to load one snapshot onto another site, as you would get an error message.
So, if you create a snapshot on a staging site, you could load that snapshot only on that staging site.
Q: How to upgrade from old code-based rather than tier-based AppSumo deal?
Hi, I purchased an old WP Reset AppSumo deal that was code based. I have one code and was hoping to upgrade and was wondering how one would go about doing this now that the deal is tier-based. I purchased one code previously. Perhaps AppSumo would be better placed to advise?
A: Hi, There is a tool to delete ALL plugins, but unfortunately, not only one. If you need to delete just one plugin, it is enough to uninstall it from the Plugins sections.
However, if you have a problem with just one plugin that does not allow you to work on your site, Emergency Recovery Script will allow you to select that one plugin and disable it remotely, so you can log in and fix the...

After activating to 5 sites, will it work normally if I deactivate the license to 1 site and activate the license to the 6th site?

Hey,
Same; even with this URL, staging and live URL can't share a snapshot, sorry.
my main concern is whether there are any conflicts. if there are no conflicts, it might still make sense for me to use wpreset to change the staging part via snapshot if necessary. the live part would be at the level of the snapshot anyway, which of course I would have to create beforehand.
live : mydomain/ staging: mydomain/staging/
