this thing asks to backup before all plugin updates and ends up super-bloating your wordpress databases! For example I just had to hire a pro to fix my tables since Hostinger requires 6gb maximum but all the backups had my sites at like 20gb each! How can we better keep things from going out of control, is there a recommendation to make backups in another method instead of just copying them into the wp tables every time? like should we do only a few copies with wpreset and otherwise do traditional backups?
A: Hi, You can control how and when the plugin takes snapshots from the settings. For example, you can automatically upload them to the Cloud and then delete locally.

-Can WP Reset Pro save a current instance of my website? -Does the site get backed up for me to redownload? -Does it also backup settings configurations? -Can I redeploy those backups to another site or on my local environment to work on?
Unfortunately, WP Reset is not a backup plugin. You can learn the difference between WP Reset and a backup plugin in this short video: https://youtu.be/0-my-2TiHxY
Q: Plugin not working. Theme author said it was coming from the plugin. Can someone advise?
Hi Guys, I installed the plugin on my Wordpress theme, but it wouldn't let me activate it. I asked the theme's author why it wasn't working, and he said it was coming from the plugin. Can someone advise how to get this to work? It looks like its from the theme or Wordpress, but I'm not sure. Is there a way to whitelist it somehow?
Q: These snapshots specifically. Can it restore created posts and pages?
Exactly what the question entails. This plugin is quite good but what if I need the blog posts and pages restored from a saved snapshot. If I can get sim clarification then it can help me further.
A: Hi, Yes, a snapshot will have your posts and pages stored. So, for example, you have 100 posts and create a snapshot today. Then over the next couple of days, you delete the posts. After loading the original snapshot, the posts and pages will return in a state from the day you created the snapshot.
However, please note that WP Reset is not a backup plugin. That means that files (media files...
Ah, I think I understand what that entails. A full backup of posts and pages means relying on the database or exporting the XML at best but a snapshot is tied to WP Reset. If the snapshot is gone then so will all posts and pages. The reset however is VERY good.
