Q: Am I correct to assume the 75,000 words at Tier 3 are an overall limit and not per user?
And is there any storage of historical generations?
Reason I ask is that if the word limit acts as an overarching limit and if there is indeed no storage, I'm a bit perplexed what functional purpose is of the limit (or lack thereof) on the number of users. You could make it unlimited and we'd still have to stay within the same limit and with no privacy issues across users... this would help us introduce additional people to your platform. Or you could leave it as is, and at the lower levels (Tiers 1/2 especially, but I suppose 3 as well), aren't you just giving people a reason to share a single account? Doesn't that only hurt you by choking off growth potential by not knowing who is actually using your platform meaning you'll almost certainly miss out on opportunities to convert members/users of someone else's account into a paying subscriber on their own?
I'm just not following the logic and really think you'd be wise to add additional user seats across all levels since you have the protection of the umbrella cap on the account... but perhaps there's a nuance that I'm missing or something??
Congrats on what you've built so far and wishing you guys all the best!

May 15, 2024A: Thank you for your detailed question. I hope I understood everything you said, and I will try to provide the answer as clear as possible.
You are correct. Each plan has an overall limit, including Tier 3 plan. All users within account are limited with this overall monthly word count.
Our app does store history of generations! Every account owner can access it by clicking "Billing" > "Generation History".
However, the app will only store generations if account owner gave consent to data processing features. GDPR doesn't allow us to store generations if user doesn't provide consent.
You can always edit this setting by clicking on your team icon in the lower left corner, then selecting "Organization" > "Privacy Settings".
The main advantage of Tier 3 is that you get a multi-user account which allows you to invite colleagues to your team and collaborate together on projects. This means that every user within your account is able to view, create and edit projects (if they have permission). Account owners can appoint team admins, which have the power to delete projects. "Ordinary" team members can't delete projects by default. The app also tracks which user made changes to which project. If we allowed unlimited users per account, that would extremely stress our database.
In short, Tier 3 plan comes with multi-user features, which are not available in single-seat plans.
I hope I have answered your question.
Thank you for your feedback. We are very excited to hear community opinions and make our app even better!
