Q: Can the download restrictions for PDF / zip file be customised, and can the order receipt be fully personalised ?
Looks promising ! for the download restriction I'm talking about number of download and time duration (in days), similar to sendowl for instance. For the order receipt, I have some legal "jargon" I have to add to make it compliant with regulations. Cheers.
Thanks a lot for your quick answer, much appreciated. I will have to check on my stripe dashboard then, as the business law related terms I have to mention have to be on the receipt and not on a separate documents. Cheers !
Q: Advice on Automating Event Ticket Sales and Payouts on a Membership Site (Embedded Zylvie)
Hi,
I am seeking advice on automating the process of selling and managing event tickets on my membership site embedding Zylvie page. Here’s the use case:
Part 1: I plan to use the Zylvie API ("POST /products/create") to programmatically create a new product based on data collected from a 3rd party form. Is there anything specific I should be aware?
Part 2: I need a fully automated way to pay members for the ticket sales. Would it be best to collect the member's bank account via the embedded form, or could I use the "Webhook - New Affiliate Sign-Up Event" for this purpose? I aim to minimize manual work as much as possible.
Part 3: Regarding refunds, what is the best practice? Is there a way to leverage the affiliate system to pay the member after a delay of 30 or 60 days? Any insights or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
1. Shouldn't be an issue, you just need to follow the API docs to the letter.
2. I'm not sure what you mean by "pay members for ticket sales?" Are they affiliates, what is their role? Who organizes these events? Who are these members? As a matter of fact, what's your role?
I can answer better once I know.
3. Delay in payouts is already built in. This is why we have commissions...
Thank you for your quick response. Let me clarify:
I run a membership website that connects parents with event providers. The event providers are the ones organizing the events. Here's a breakdown of how the process works:
1. Event Providers: They fill out an online form on my site to list their event tickets for sale, such as theme park tickets.
2. Role in the Process: Once the form is completed, it automatically triggers a workflow that creates a product (the event ticket) in Zylvie using the API. This allows parents, who are the members of my site, to purchase these tickets from the Zylvie store.
3. Payment Flow: When parents buy tickets, the payments are processed through my account, which is integrated with Stripe and Zylvie. The funds initially come to me.
4. Paying Event Providers: My role is essentially as an intermediary, facilitating the sale of tickets on behalf of the event providers. I am seeking advice on the best automated way to transfer these funds to the event providers after a sale has been made.
I had a close look at the "Webhook - New Affiliate Sign-Up Event" document and found that it is not for setting up affiliates, but for receiving webhook notifications after manually adding an affiliate. In this case, I can not rely on the Zylvie platform to pay the event provider. It appears I need to request a bank account in the form or set up consolidated payouts separately.
You most likely need to look for another platform, because we don't handle payments between 3 parties (you, parents, event providers).
I understand your use case, but the fit is not too good between our platform (which is for creators to sell services/products direct to their audience) and your use case (event ecommerce + payment automation basically).
First, I know you guys in L.A. are going through a very difficult time right now so I hope you have not been affected and you guys are OK.
Second: I strongly suggest that you look into https://dlocalgo.com/ as an integration and this is why: when it comes to some countries (like Latin American countries) Stripe is very limited, it only allows payments in the local currency of the business and also credit and debit cards from the country which limits A LOT the reach into other international markets ...thats why https://dlocalgo.com/ offers a Stripe-like alternative for that which would be great for you guys expanding into other markets, this would make your product much more attractive.
Also I would like to see more flexibility and better designs cuz I think its a little limited for now.
Hi i remember some time ago it was not yet ready and the integration was via Stripe, has this been addressed an now it's direct? How is the T5 mapped to your regular plans in terms of "features"? Are we in the powerhouse but with lower limits? thanks

Jan 15, 2025A: Hi there,
There's no time restriction on the downloads yet, but we'll see if we can add that (if sufficient demand for it emerges).
Also what kind of legal jargon?
The order receipts are issued by Stripe, so you'll have to look into your Stripe dashboard if it allows that.
Otherwise you can always send a separate email containing this legal jargon after the purchase, and our platform...

I hope this clarifies the setup and my role in this process. Any suggestions on automating the payout to event providers would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

Jan 14, 2025A: Hi there,
Thank you for your suggestion to integrate dLocal Go.
We'll look into it and see if this is something we can add.
In the meantime, you can also use PayPal on Zylvie to sell in multiple currencies as well.
With thanks,
Jay
