We haven't made any decisions on this yet.

Most likely though, there will be a basic version of it built into Zylvie for completeness.

It will probably be in the form of a PDF/EPUB reader for basic courses.

But if the scope gets out of hand (meaning users expect folders, pages, full HTML, elements/blocks, video hosting, etc. etc.), it will need to be spun off for sure.

The fact that you're asking this question shows that you too know that this is a separate product, and based on its scope, it definitely is.

As for whether it will be a lifetime plan, again that really depends on what the user base will bear.

If our user base fights us on white label and does not give us any way to sustain ourselves using publicly-facing backlinks, then offering a LTD will be an unsustainable business model.

If our user base understands that something has to give in order for LTDs to be sustainable (especially LTD on a big software like a course platform, with expensive hosting and bandwidth needs), then yeah we could probably do it on an LTD model.

All this is very preliminary, and no decision has been made yet.

But so far, this is what we have planned.
