I have read your comments below, but still think that this is unfair. I’m not even asking you to meet in the middle but one thing that I would like to suggest as we have been waiting so long and very patiently to showcase PWA to our clients is just to give us 1 custom domain per account to at least showcase PWA to our customers. The question you have to ask is why would we want no AppMySite branding to then showcase PWA on an AppMySite subdomain. This is very fair and not asking a lot at all. PWA is just completely useless to Lifetime customers without this option. Surely this would work in your favour too. Clients who choose to sign up for our PWA service would then be generating an ongoing income for you. I think this is a very fair ask after this wait and would be more than disappointed if you don’t agree that this is a fair option.
Very confused after long awaited PWA and being given a ‘AppMySite’ (Branded Sub Domain)
After carefully reading the above review I have some valid questions.
Firstly you state ‘ Even making the PWA available on an AppMySite subdomain involves a significant cost, but we have decided to make this available to our AppSumo customers.’ You also offer this service on your FREE package to the general public. It says FREE AppMySite Sub Domain, so being a Loyal Tier 5 customer you have effectively offered us nothing different to the FREE general public package. Thanks!
I’m sure everybody, feels completely robbed.
You also state ‘No AppMySite’ Branding. How can you say that an AppMySite subdomain isn’t AppMySite Branding?
I’m sure you will get many negative reviews unless you help those loyal customers who signed up early on and supported you.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback — we truly understand your frustration and appreciate your support as a Tier 5 customer.
PWA hosting — even on our subdomain — involves meaningful infrastructure and maintenance costs on our end. While it's not a custom domain solution, we chose to extend this benefit to AppSumo customers without charging extra on their existing...
I bought Tier 5 in 2023, mainly for the promised PWA feature. After two years of waiting, it’s finally here—only to find it’s locked behind a $29/month fee just to use a custom domain. Who wants a PWA on an appmysite subdomain? That’s pointless. I know this deal was offered based on the Pro plan—you’ve reminded the AppSumo community of that many times. But AppSumo deals often include perks beyond standard plans, and this feels like a bait-and-switch. Unbundling PWA from domain customization is a low blow. At least Tier 5 users deserved better. If I wanted a paid subscription, I'd go with GoodBarber: mature, stable, intuitive, with API access and real integrations. I genuinely hope I misunderstood and that the full PWA launch will respect those who trusted you from the beginning.
We are making the PWA feature available to AppSumo users, but as you pointed out, you would have to use it with an AppMySite subdomain.
We understand you want us to include a custom domain with your Tier 5 license. However, we cannot include any feature that involves a significant ongoing cost in a lifetime deal, as it is not viable for us to do this....
Q: Do any of the levels on offer on AppSumo include Advanced Push Notifications?
There has been a lot of confusion on AppSumo (AS) as a number of other buyers have commented around the Push Notifications (PN) offered with the AS tiers.
There is no clarity around the included PN in the tiers and they don’t seem to directly correlate with the tiers offered via your website leaving it up to users to guess how things marry up. The offers are great value however, without full transparency about the inclusions you will always have upset buyers. There is zero mention of different PN products on your site which has lead to the confusion/bad sentiment with those who purchased on AS.
Please can you provide a cost to upgrade to “Advanced Push Notifications” as an AS buyer.
It is also a concern about how feature updates will be rolled out to AS customers when the tiers don’t appear to exactly marry up with tiers on your site?
Thanks, can you share how much the Rich Notifications cost as an add-on and what additional features they provide? Or do we need to upgrade our entire plan to the Premium Plan?
Also, what does “Merge apps” refer to in your feature table above? On your website there is nothing relating to this other than “Combine multiple apps” which is only a feature of the Premium Plan on your site? Thanks
Hi. The Rich notifications add-on costs $29/mo/app, billed annually. You don't need to upgrade your entire app to the Premium plan to get this feature. Merge apps let you combine multiple apps into a single app build. This feature lets you make different app versions available to users based on region. You can learn more about the feature here - https://docs.appmysite.com/app/merge-apps
More documentation - https://docs.appmysite.com/app/merge-apps/merge-apps
Q: Can you explain the Pay-per-app subscriptions
Can you explain the Pay-per-app subscriptions - does this mean on tier 1 you can only create 3 apps with this tear? or only have 3 apps live? Ex: say I create 3 apps (assuming it means this), then don't like one and delete it, could I then build another one? What is the cost to build an additional?
3 apps basically means you can build and publish 3 Android & iOS apps. If you delete one, you can create and publish another app in its place. If you’d like to build more apps than the number you’re allotted within your license, we would recommend upgrading to a higher tier.

Thank you for reaching out.
Plain push notifications are available with every AppSumo license. Any feature that’s part of our Pro plan is available with our AppSumo license.
Since rich notifications are part of our Premium plan, it’s currently available to AppSumo license owners as an add-on.
Please feel free to reach out again for more questions.
