another failed attempt. one must be wary of busying deals if products like this fail so frequently. Old skool like slidebean, kept up with promises made, new AI companies are like the wind.

Doesnt work!

I joined a support community meeting with Don Bosco after reporting the glitch I was experiencing. I believe he might be one of the founders. During a community-style webinar, I explained that my avatar wouldn’t do anything except spin endlessly as it tried to load. They listened to my issue, noted my email and account details, and said they would follow up. It’s been five months, and I still haven’t heard back—my persona avatar still isn’t working! To be clear, I was never able to actually use it. Not event once :(

They changed their software integration after purchase

Unfortunately what was promised was not delivered.

I purchased this software because we could automate it to send videos out when we received new leads. It was offered zappier integration, hence I purchased the software.

The software is incredibly technical and complicated to set up, but we endured the massive learning curve and invested 10's of hours setting it up.

Then they changed the software, and removed the provision of the free Zapier integration - advising we can use it but pay for our own account. An integral part of the software removed!

They then said to use our own Zappier account, which totally changes total costs and makes it not viable.

They ignored 2 requests for refunds (which I guess wasn't their issue but would have been nice to have some understanding for the customers).

We would have kept it if we could use Pabbly integration, but no desire to pay the expensive fees of Zappier.

Honesty would be a better approach for these companies, or to do their maths in the first place to ensure what they offer actually are viable to sustain. Changing the software provisions after purchase is certainly a questionable move ethically speaking.

Jawjank Redemption?

Not 100% production-ready.

Although a fun experiment and a cool idea with potential, the tech just isn’t there for BHuman, even though it technically is elsewhere (for free and usable via live webcam).

The arbitrary word limit warning that pops up for txt-to-video—even when you remain well under the already constrained word count—is annoying and impractical. The lip syncing is comical. Lots of jank, uncanny valley, bugs, etc.

UI is ok and personalized templates were a nice touch. LinkedIn feature seems legit even though I don’t want to send the videos in the current state. Make automations would be good to see at some stage.

The founder definitely needs to look into DeepfaceLive and others to reverse engineer or apply the algos it uses. I’m a T4 buyer purchasing in AUD with abysmal exchange rates, but want to like where this is heading so (only just) won’t refund.

Tl;dr
BHuman is unusable for its intended application now, but has awesome potential. Hoping for ROI one day in the near future, and that this review fuels an epic redemption arc.

Lots of bugs

Be warned, you cannot make videos with 100% custom text with API. You can from the dashboard. Unfortunately 1/3 of the Avatars give a "not long enough" warning even though I maxed out the allowed words. Also the animation on the Avatars faces are glitchy making it obviously generated. Fixing all those things would make it much better.
