I am considering purchasing the Tier2 plan with 3 domains and have a few questions regarding domain and subdomain connections. My website is webagency.com, and I would like to know if the sites created using Butternut can be linked to subdomains as follows: - client1.webagency.com - client2.webagency.com - client3.webagency.com
Once these websites are approved by my clients, I would like to transition them to first-level domains: - client1.com - client2.com - client3.com
To clarify, my questions are: 1. Can Butternut AI connect sites to subdomains? 2. Is it possible to move websites freely between subdomains and first-level domains at any time? 3. Can I manage these domain connections directly from the Butternut AI back office, or does it require manual intervention from your customer support team?
A: 1) Yes, you can connect subdomains 2) Yes, you can disconnect a subdomain and link another domain/subdomain at any time 3) You can do it yourself from the dashboard, doesn't require any human intervention.

Q: Several problems about design in other languages and adding elements
I have been testing, but I have encountered some significant issues that limit the creation of modern and versatile-looking web pages. It seems that it is not possible to edit the text of each page name in the access menu, and that is a big problem if you create your page in another language because even if I choose Spanish, I will still see words in English like "Home," "Services," "Contact Us." Will there be a solution to this big problem? Another problem I see is that only images can be added, but no videos, neither as an element nor as a background for a section. Not being able to do that gives an outdated and static image. Can it be added somehow? Finally, is there a way to add blocks with some script? This is very important for adding third-party forms, surveys, and other functions through script blocks.
A: 1) It is possible to edit the name and url of pages. You can do it by Clicking on PAGES on top header > Manage Pages > Click on Settings icon next tot he page you want to edit > Edit the name/URL. Q: Guarantee for Export IF ButterNut goes bottom-up / dies?
Hi Pritika! I REALLY hope your company will make it, and do well. Still, to invest our time in building out a website on BN, without knowing what will happen to your start-up in the next few years, is a risk - especially as there is no way in BN now, to export the website. IF (God forbid) your company won't make it, then what guarantee will we have that we can then export the entire website (with all its HTML-CSS-JS etc.) in a way that will make it easy to transfer it elsewhere? Without such a guarantee it just feels like too much a risk now to host our websites exclusively on your BN servers. Hope you can help - as I would love to use your tool! Cheers, Meindert
I recently purchased Tier 2 and was hoping to get clarification on some points regarding domains and hosting:
Domain Registration: - Do these domains have Butternut branding, or are they fully customizable? - Can I manage DNS settings directly, or is everything controlled by Butternut? - The domain we claim is for 1 year only. What is the cost aft that?
Hosting & Business Continuity: - If Butternut AI shuts down, what happens to my domains and websites? - Is there an option to export the website and host it elsewhere? - Can I self-host my website with a third-party provider like AWS or Bluehost?
Thank you in advance for your help with these questions. 👏
A: 1) No, the domains do not have Butternut branding. These are your own custom domains. 2) Yes, you can manage DNS settings of domain name 3) We are a high growth company and have been in business from last 1.5 years. So we aren't going anywhere. You will always own your domain name and can move it to some other website. 4) We provide a full ecosystem to build and host websites. Downloading...
Q: About Subdomain and Domain Connections
Hi,
I am considering purchasing the Tier2 plan with 3 domains and have a few questions regarding domain and subdomain connections. My website is webagency.com, and I would like to know if the sites created using Butternut can be linked to subdomains as follows:
- client1.webagency.com
- client2.webagency.com
- client3.webagency.com
Once these websites are approved by my clients, I would like to transition them to first-level domains:
- client1.com
- client2.com
- client3.com
To clarify, my questions are:
1. Can Butternut AI connect sites to subdomains?
2. Is it possible to move websites freely between subdomains and first-level domains at any time?
3. Can I manage these domain connections directly from the Butternut AI back office, or does it require manual intervention from your customer support team?
Thanks
