I purchased the highest tier. Had issues from the start. Kept getting server errors and upload failures whatever I did - I deleted all cache, used other browsers etc. Reported the many issues to support who didn't even apologise after finally replying. She did tell me she would report to Devs, but no timeline for a resolution. I notice that the founder hasn't responded to questions here for a long time. He did respond to a question from me about the audiograms which contain a castmagic watermark, telling me it could be removed, but failing to mention that you can only do this for 10 audiograms, after which you are stuck advertising cast magic despite paying a thousand dollars to do so. I am pretty sure I am going to refund this. You can do what it does in Merlin Bots / Taskade / Meetgeek and the like, albeit less neatly. I was willing to pay to have it all done in one place, but from what I see and the lack of passion both for customers and development (let alone accurate answers to questions or even bothering to answer previous purchasers concerns in the questions), I can't see a long future for the product.

This product has become vital in creating content types for our business from raw longform videos. I can’t believe that it’s back in sumo and it’s a definite must purchase. It’s easy to use has great support and the only thing I regret is I didn’t buy more minutes when I first bought the deal in my lifetime membership. That said I happily pay to get more minutes any month that I need. This is a product you can count on and I highly recommend five tacos all the way.

Recently picked this up, so still figuring out its capabilities. So far it's been hit or miss.
There's some potential for sure, but a few deal breakers for our needs if not resolved.

Two main issues:

- The Studio is basically unusable to repurpose any video in its current form. Without going into details, it's just not ready for use. I know they're working on a massive update, which is good, because it really needs it. This should be dropping any day now - hopefully?
- YouTube Link doesn't work. I knew that going into this, and wanted to see what that workflow would look like having to rip the video from YT, then upload it into CM. I went through this process a few time - it's not really efficient at all. Especially when you attempt to upload a video into CM and when it gets to about 82% (14 minutes in) it just disappears and you have to start the process all over again. Not great.

So here's hoping they drop a banger of a Studio update and find a YT workaround otherwise it's probably not going to work for our needs.

Ich hab jetzt die Tier-Stufe erhöht, dabei wurde ich schmerzlichst daran erinnert, dass es keine LTD ist, sondern in meinem Falle nur eine 1-Jahr Lizens.
Das ist etwas teuer, muss ich sagen.
Naja, Castmagic macht seinen Job aber auch um Längen besser als die Konkurrenzprodukte.
Jedoch ist das Transcript bei deutscher Sprachen nur so 85% richtig, das ist aber immer noch besser als bei den anderen.
Genials App, sehr gute Funktionen, auch den Magic-Chat, wo man dann direkt zu dem Video fragen kann, aber es ist nicht billig...

This is a great tool. You can even share an example of a post and it will capture the framework (Newsletter or post) and then work the info in your transcript to follow the example's framework. That is so useful!!
It's also great way to do voice notes of ideas and develop out the ideas. I have an Android so I have to upload my voice recording manually from my Google Drive to CastMagic, but it's not a big deal. There is an iOS app that does this for you, if you have an iPhone.
