I've noticed that importing from other applications would be very useful for those of us who have tasks and plans saved in different formats, such as CSV. Are there any plans to include this option in future updates? Is there any recommended alternative at the moment for transferring large volumes of tasks into the application?
A: Hello, this feature is being asked relatively frequently so we are currently reconsidering. Do you by chance have a sample CSV you could share with us for testing import? If yes, please email us to info@tarasov-mobile.com and we will tailor the import feature for your needs.
Q: Does Chaos Control support (deeply) nested Tasks
Good evening,
If I have simple tasks (‘buy bread, milk and bitters’), then I can't talk about chaos yet. I have chaos when I have nested tasks that I either have to complete on my own or where I have to check whether they have been completed. For example:
New Employee +- Human resources | +- regulate contracts | +- Set up wage payments | +- … + IT | +- Buy HW | | +- Chose notebook | +- Setup accounts + Team | +- organise introduction day | +- …
Therefore the question: Is it possible to define deep nested task lists so that I can see what has been completed for a small project?
(The ‘context’ in Chaos Control is completely different, because with the concept of context I am pretty sure I lose the connections between tasks and no longer see what is linked together - which you always have in a hierarchical task list :)
A: Great question! You can either create nested categories or use checklists inside the tasks. No deep nested task structure though. In most of the cases categories inside categories are the answer.
Q: Why on earth isn't there any way to add notifications?
Why on earth isn't there any way to add notifications? It seems like a significant oversight that could greatly enhance user experience and keep people informed of important updates. Having the ability to receive notifications would allow users to stay on top of tasks and receive timely reminders, ultimately improving productivity. It’s frustrating to think that such a useful feature is missing, especially when many applications today rely heavily on notifications to engage and assist their users.
Just signed on and signed up. Impressed so far. Kind of a deal killer if I cannot sync and work off of my existing calendar. Where are you at with the back and forth sync?
A: Hey Tevis, it is expected later this year. Currently we are refining our brand new File Storage and AI features. As soon as we are done with that we will be working on integrations.
