We don’t currently have a webhook feature like Bitly for link click notifications, but that’s a great suggestion! We’ve added it to our roadmap and will discuss it internally.
Awesome! I bought 3codes and might buy some more for another company. This such a solid link shortener. I hope the webhook click notification gets added soon. :)
A: Thanks for your interest! Lots of interesting features are also rolling.
Regarding GDPR, it’s in our pipeline—we’re currently exploring compliance requirements along with a few other regulations. We aim to have it fully implemented in the next couple of months. Stay tuned!
Let me know if you have any specific requirements or questions. 😊
A: Hi User, currently, CutMe Short does not support automatic redirection based on a specific number of clicks or a time delay after clicking. However, we’d love to understand your usecase better. Could you share more details on your requirements?
Feel free to reach out to us at support@cutmeshort.com, and we’ll explore possible solutions with you.
Q: Open in default browser available, not open-in-app?
I understand the existing feature of "open-in-app", although I could not find a way to test it with my free account. Maybe something that you could add to your documentation as there is no reference in the existing documents.
But my intention is actually not opening a link in an app, but in the default browser on a device. The integrated web viewers in social media applications are too often delivering incomplete functionalities. Does CutMe Short have such feature to "open-in-default-browser"? Where is it hidden?
A: Currently, if a link is associated with a specific app, it may open within that app. Additionally, whether a link opens in the in-app browser or the default browser can sometimes depend on the device settings.

Let say an example i am doing a influencer marketing where tell youtuber to share my link and you get commission on selling courses, Obviously i share them branded link coz that will build truest (domain name linked .....not....cut me short link) so you are saying i can only share that to 75 ppl. that is WAYYYY too less.
Even bit.ly lins feels like scam to this gen, thus many young gen dont click.... This is my personal Testing from youtube creators & talking with them. Its legit data.
I think you will have to atleast make it like 500 so i can share to many creators...think about it --- That link will be for a LONG time assigned to 1 influencer....almost permanent..... cant use it anywhere else, thus I think plan chage is surely needed a bit from your side for this case scenario consideration.
A: Hi Sumo-ling, We completely understand your concern, and you’ve made a great point about the importance of branded links in influencer marketing. But we also recognize that certain use cases—like yours—require a higher limit.
We’re open to finding a middle ground. If you need more branded links for long-term influencer assignments, we’d be happy to explore a custom plan that fits your needs....
Q: Webhook?
Is there a webhook feature similar to Bitly that can send a custom notification when a link is clicked?
