Q: Can I use my own mobile carrier to perform the SMS outreach?

I want to buy this tool to use it with my clients (local biz owners in Latam), my question is if they're gonna be able to connect their own phone number to reach out to clients - or if they're going to need an account in twilio, brevo or other sms carrier to perform their sms campaigns.

Thanks in advance!

A: Thank you for your question. Sorry if it’s not clear in the listing, but we tried to make it very clear. You have to connect a gateway to use the platform. That means Twilio or Telnyx or one of the other approved gateways that we have listed. Now, you can get a Twilio account and provide them with phone numbers and charge them for them, or you can have your clients get their own account with...

A: Thank you so much for the question. No we do not integrate with VOIP my friend. Sorry. If they already have a dialer and the features you need it may be best to stick with them. That said, if you want a full suite platform with Voice Dialer, Texting, and more, we offer all of our AppSumo clients a discounted monthly rate for a High Level Sub-Account. This is only available to our AppSumo...

Q: Inquiry regarding the cost of sending

Hello, you said that you are an alternative to Twilio and at the same time you are integrated with it. What I want to understand is, do you give us the ability to send messages for life or are you supposed to ask us to connect to a third party that we pay according to the number of messages? I apologize if the question seems simple, but I did not understand your service well.

A: Thanks for the question. We are an alternative because we make it easy to send text messages.
Our platform connects to your gateway like Twilio or Telnyx, and then you get our full suite of tools in one easy to use platform.
There is not a native way inside of Twilio to do all of the things that you can do inside of our platform. For example, we have digital coupons and Acton forms, we have...

Q: You connect to Vonage?

I read in an earlier thread you connect to Vonage. Do I understand correctly, you can connect your system and use all of its features while using your Vonage account to text? is that correct?

A: Not your Vonage home phone service but yes, Vinage as a gateway. https://www.vonage.com/communications-apis/

We recommend Twilio or Telnyx though for ease of use and better gateway support.

Q: Mandatory Appended Message Sent via API

Hi Mat,
Thank you for creating such a great app. I really appreciate it.

I am reaching out because I encountered an issue. When I manually add a contact by clicking the action button on rockstarsms.app, the Mandatory Appended Message (STOP to opt-out. HELP for help. Msg&Data rates may apply.) is not sent. However, when I add a contact using the API, the message is sent automatically.

Is there a way to configure this setting, or is this a bug?
I would appreciate your guidance on this matter.

Looking forward to your response.

A: This is not a big. When you manually add someone, the assumption is that you’ve already gotten express written consent. When someone comes through the API it is assumed that they’ve just filled out something on your other site (like a form) where they’ve are just now “opting-in” so it is sending them the acknowledgment. Btw, AppSumo doesn’t allow support issues in the questions so in the future...
