Minimarks has received positive feedback from customers, particularly for its efficient organization, seamless sharing, and user-friendly design. The tool's minimalist UI, intuitive sorting, and fast functionality have been highly praised. While there are minor limitations in customization and nesting functionality, overall, Minimarks is a solid choice for those in need of a compact bookmark manager and start page. With the product's refundable nature and the 60-day money-back guarantee, it's worth giving it a try.

Easiest 5 tacos on this platform

Before Minimarks, my Chrome was a disaster - dozens of tabs open, bookmarks buried, and no easy way to share key links with my team. Now I’ve got everything organized, fast to access, and easy to maintain. My team uses it every day, and it’s helped everyone stay aligned without the chaos of endless message threads just to find a link.

What I love most is how simple it is. Just pin it to your Chrome bar, and boom - you’ve got instant access to your most important links, grouped by category or workflow. It’s faster than digging through folders, and lighter than other tools I’ve tried.

Also worth noting: cutting down on tabs has noticeably sped up my computer. Fewer resources used, more focus gained.

If you live online, juggle a bunch of projects, or run a team - Minimarks is a no-brainer. Clean interface, zero learning curve, and real everyday value. 5 tacos all day!!!

Not bad

I really like the layout and how it looks. But I feel the price is set too high. There are not many features and I fail to see how this works well for teams.

There is very little customization you can do and switching between spaces is a pain. It's also not smart when it grabs favicons for new bookmarks and there's no way to edit icons it failed to grab.

Features I'd like to see: Reminders to visit sites, badges for notifications like new comments, being able to right click instead of going to edit mode, a list display mode with rss style pictures and titles, auto update spaces background from unsplash on refresh, icon styling to make everything uniform, more row and column grid options for adding headers and keeping alignment of collections, easier switching between spaces, more dark themes or custom themes, xxxl icon size or just a slider to specify the px, auto tag bookmarks, a notes section under the tag section when editing, reusable custom tags, searchable comments, and custom bookmark icons.

Edit: bumping up to 4 stars from 3. The low rating is due to the cost but lack of features, especially for a mature product. They have also said custom icons are in the roadmap.

Not great for lots of bookmarks and folders

Review likes/dislikes
What I like:
The smaller icons is cool
They open in a new tab

Dislike:
Navigating spaces is NOT intuitive or convenient. I use speed dial chrome extension and it's much easier - the spaces are right there at the top and you just click on it. With minimarks, you have to first click spaces, then click these very tiny little arrows to go to the next space over - and keep clicking until you're in the right space.

I dislike that I can only have text if the minimarks are in a column layout - which then leads to a very very long page. If we're forced to put it into a list format in order to see the name of the item, then why can't we make several columns under each "collection"? Right now, it's only one column in each collection - and I've got lots of collections - so it's this huge list I have to scroll down to find my item. So the list and organization of it is not very pleasant or user friendly.

We can't customize images - in the event that minimarks can't fetch the image, which happens relatively often, you should be able to add a url to your own custom image. Right now, when it can't fetch the image, I'm left with a little square and the icon that shows it can't fetch. Additionally, many of my links share the same icon - for example, when I've got links to different folders in google drive. So they all look identical - and without text, you can't distinguish. So you're stuck in list format - a never ending list.

Don't love that I have to go into "edit mode" to change the name of the item. Why can't we just right click on it? Instead, I have to click another button to go into edit mode > then click the icon > then select edit from the menu > then type the new name > then click to save and exit edit mode. It just seems like an unnecessary process that could be simplified.

The apps a great idea, but I think it's poor execution. But if you're someone who really doesn't have a ton of icons/links you need to save, then maybe it's great for those cases.

I also don't love that the minimarks dashboard itself is another page you have to go to first in order to then see your bookmarks. I hate to harp on the speed dial thing but it's automatically open as your browser screen when you open the browser. That's a lot more convenient.

Why 4 stars? Two reasons: first, I gave it five stars and AppSumo rejected my review because of that. So I had to leave one less.

Second, because minimarks isn't doing anything wrong - so who am I to give them a bad review just because it's not what I specifically expected? This info is based on my specific use case - but as you can see they've got tons of 5-star reviews so I would still give it a shot.

Thank you for your thoughtful review 🙏

You’ve raised several valid points, and I want you to know we’re actively working on improvements that address many of these concerns:
• Spaces navigation will be completely revamped to make switching much more intuitive—no more clicking through arrows.
• Custom icon support is coming, so you’ll be able to choose your own icon if we can’t fetch one or if...

MiniMarks: A Game-Changer for Organizing Links and Apps

This tool is essential for me. It helps me a lot in organizing all my links, allowing me to keep fewer tabs open in my browser. I use MiniMarks together with TabExtend.

In my case, MiniMarks acts as a dashboard for all the apps I use, while TabExtend is used for storing links with notes and reminders.

Previously, I only used TabExtend, which was becoming overloaded.
However, with the arrival of MiniMarks, everything became much more organized.

Thank you, Seb, for developing this tool, as it has been incredibly helpful in my daily life.
