As a person with unseen disabilities and being someone who writes blogs papers and does much research, I’ve been looking for something that encompasses things that will help me be on a level playing Field and do my work constructively, especially since I have ADHD. As a user of various research tools, I bought paper guide and was impressed by its comprehensive offerings. This platform uniquely integrates features like AI, driven paper, summaries, efficient, literature, reviews, and what I find to be the best is a robust reference manager, which has significantly streamlined my research process which in the past has been extremely tedious for me. The ability to interact directly with documents through AI is particularly innovative, which provides me the quick insights. I need to improve my workflow. Additionally, their user friendly interface, and also most importantly their response of Customer support really enhanced my experience, and I think it could be a really great tool for both students season researchers, bloggers parents, and so much more. I can only see it getting better. I highly recommend for anyone looking to optimize every research efficiency and I look forward to using it more and updating my review as I go.

Of course, it doesn't produce research, but Paperguide is a valuable tool to explore, give ideas, propose insights, and also help get rid of the white page syndrome.
Results are really not bad both for paper exploration and for the writer. The writer works like a good non-expert and remains quite relevant within the scope of the question asked, and the syllabus alone may be very useful.
Is it perfect? No, but it's sufficiently powerful to give Paperguide the function of a... guide.

As far as my testing goes, I have not found big mistakes in my field, just some wrong references, but that's the case with all AI literature scanning, so double-checking remains needed, in that case it's very easy to do with a mouse over to check if there's a DOI.
Data extraction is also a pretty cool idea for a fast paper review.
All AI tools available for researchers have different strengths and weaknesses; there is definitely no one tool for every use, so Paperguide is useful in its way (quite different for me from Afforai, for example, or Scispace).

the UI/UX is quite good, nothing amazing but everything is straightforward, obvious and fast, so it fits the use. Link to papers, papers availability, or opensource archives could be improved, it sometimes open nothing (yes like SciSpace if you ask). DOI links seems to work better.

The support has been fast and reliable for me, which is a very good point for such tools that proliferate without being properly maintained and supported.

Use cases:

- For a senior researcher, it helps dig into new subjects and gives ideas for paper writing.
- For a young researcher, well, the writer can be, if properly used, quite powerful ;)

In a near futur, the issue of students home essays will really have to be discussed !

I encountered numerous critical issues over the past few weeks that have not been addressed promptly. The Chrome extension is unreliable. It frequently requires login, yet most of the time it fails to accept login credentials.

You cannot interact with clipped web pages. The tool will indicate that no PDF is available when you attempt to interact with a clipped page.

Uploading URLs often fails.

Paperguide is extremely beneficial for academic researchers. It offers numerous features, including a literature table, data extraction, the ability to chat with individual papers, and one-way integration with Zotero reference management software.

As someone who uses Perplexity and bought here another platform I was slightly doubtful regarding purchasing PaperGuide.
However, Im happy I did as it helped to get extremely close to finishing a long-waited-to-end article that I just didn't have time to do research for and how to summarize it.
For those who need it to write - it is doing it amazingly as well!
