I bought 6 codes based purely on the AMAZING Developer engagement and response, which can be seen here and shows that these guys are serious and destined for success. I'm writing this 5-star review and haven't even activated our codes yet. The only hesitations we had were about API limitations for things like reporting and custom URLs but they promised to address this in the next few days, which will allow us to migrate from r*wardf*l.

Haven't had much time with the product, but I encountered a problem early on and the developer fixed the issue immediately. I have changed my review to reflect that. The developer was very responsive and seems to really care about their backers. Hope it continues on this path! Seems like it could be a really useful tool. Am excited to really start using it.

EDIT: Nothing in my initial review was malicious, and I still think that the way this was done is not transparent.

Furthermore, if the deal changed, then why wasn't I notified or why isn't it stated in the deal terms that those who purchased tier 2 in the early stages are now "grandfathered" and have access to all the features with unlimited revenue? Is this the case? Because to me it's not clear.

I am sorry but I as I wrote in my initial review, I still haven't started actively using PLG and to me it was frustrating to see the sudden change without any notification. So many deals I bought no longer care and don't even respect the initial deal terms, and so I had an emotional reaction when I saw this...
