For years, I’ve been looking for a transcription tool that combines high accuracy and “magic words”/a Glossary with easy proofreading + edits both to the subtitle view and a transcript with paragraphs created from it. I tried >20 other tools… And none of them combines very high accuracy with effective correction & a user-friendly UI like SubEasy does.

My current favourites had been castmagic and Subtitle Edit with FasterWhisperXXL.
Both have great accuracy and easy editing. Now there's SubEasy, also easy workflow, great accuracy and easy editing.

But subeasy is even better:
• full glossary, you can set "magic words" for product names, people names and everything else that the transcription would otherwise get wrong. Subtitle Edit does not have it, and in Castmagic, you can't use non-English characters (I work with a language that has them a lot) or even numbers. Subeasy takes UTF-8 characters, numbers and even word combinations, and the results are great.
• full control of flow/reflow for subtitles AND a transcript with paragraph (Castmagic has the transcript but no flow/line break control for subtitles, subtitle edit has no paragraph transcript)
• Best accuracy ever. The best other tool I know is Subtitle Edit with FasterWhisper XXL, default parameters, model large-v3turbo. Results with my audio: 5 wrong words for each 10 min of audio (about 2.000 words). No deletions, no insertions/hallucinations. This is already insanely good. But with subeasy using glossary for names, it gets even better: 9 errors for each 10 min/2000 words, BUT their "AI refine" catches about 7 of them (shows about 11, 2 are artistic choices, 2 are correct, 7 are errors. Takes me 60 seconds to check with refine). So 2 errors are left in 2000 words/10 min, no deletions/insertions. WER = 0.1%, accuracy 99.9% — this is with experienced narrators recorded in a professional studio (and their voice might have been included in the Whisper models training data since they produced a lot of podcasts, which might be one of the reasons why the error rate is that low).
• good translation option: great results, and it even shows 2 columns next to each other for original/translation if you like.
• It can import existing srt-files (I spent weeks transcribing and correcting already each year with other tools), and SubEasy also has the best search/replace I've seen,n with "whole word" and match case (in my language, some words have different meanings when written uppercase/lowercase).
• you can tag/search for files to easily organize them
• awesome AI refinement: Open the AI refiner, wait a few seconds, and from 10 errors, it will spot about 7 to 9, and suggest an additional 3–5 corrections that are wrong. You can select/unselect and edit the corrections and listen to the exact audio part with 1 click. This is so good and fast, you have to try it.

It has other options like rendering subtitles in your video, but I am just looking for fast batch transcribing with best accuracy and correction options to receive subtitles and a transcript with paragraphs. No other tool does it as good SubEasy, and I tried a lot of them. I am so glad I got Tier 3.

SubEasy delivers on providing a precise transcription of video, these transcription are also available in sub-title format.

SubEasy allows 3 files of 30 minutes each for free transcription - I wish it was 3 files of 60 minutes each.

There are other function like downloading of Youtube videos which doe not work.

Helpful tool. I’ve tried a bunch of different translation AI tools out there, and SubEasy ai stands out from the crowd. The accuracy of the translations is impressive. Upgraded to Tier 3.

Very good!!! Really like it. There is room for improvement in the caption. So far Superb!!!! 5 tacos!!!

It was a single-click purchase, and I expected lots more because the number of languages they supported was large. I tried with a Malayalam language video, and the output is not a promising one. The output actually comes out a mixture of English, Tamil, and Malayalam.

Few Notable Points
1. English works perfectly
2. AI Companion is almost good in the Malayalam language. Need longer outputs in blog post, notes etc.
3. Only 3 video transcriptions/day is very low, should provide a monthly quota instead of day. like 100/month
4. I tried Subeasy AI Plus translation also on an English video to Malayalam; translation is good, but the output file is not showing subtitles properly.

I was planning for a higher Tier, but I am not going for an upgrade. If things not improve, I may take refund too.
