Its a bit of a learning curve but works really well when its all setup. Having "smart email" capabilities that can conditionally send a follow-up email when a specific goal is met is a super power that you need. If this comes back to AppSumo in the future, scoop up as much as you can.

It is simply a scam. It NEVER works. He always has serious problems. You can lose hours of work. The campaigns, automations disappear... Then the emails don't arrive. Also, it has no integrations, prepare to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars with Zapier.

OMG - FINALLY!
Tarvent is the best email platform I have found thus far.
I tried SendFox. It was functional to start with, but very limited.
I moved to Mailerlite, which worked well. Good UI. But was getting expensive.
I tried ConvertKit. This was the most intuitive CRM I've used by far. But also the most expensive.
I went to Selzy, which was fine. But after 30 days, emails went straight to spam. No change in my content, and looking at reviews, many other people had similar issues.
I then tried to set up Zagomail, but couldn't even get it set up. Error on the backend, and support would take 2+ weeks to reply...
Moved to Acumbamail, which was fine. Worst UI so far and poor functionality (minimal automations). But the delivery rate was good.
That's when I learned about Tarvent. I tried Tarvent for +30 days, and my open rates stayed at 40%+. They have full in-depth automations.
The Ui is difficult and took a full day to learn. But once I learned it, it was phenomenal.
Couldn't recommend Tarvent enough!

Wow, just wow, and then some extra wow for the excellent support
As a small time author and a one-person business, I'm always on the lookout for an email service provider that matches my need of a small list and opportunity to grow without destroying my meager budget along the way.
Tarvent offered everything I needed, and then so much more! With its detailed audience settings, tagging, complex automations... I can see possibilities I wasn't even thinking about. Yes, there are a lot of features, and the learning curve might be somewhat steep at times, but what I appreciate is that I could set up the basics really quickly and be ready to go without having actually to dive in and learn all the features first. I can explore them at my pace while my newsletter is already setup and ready to go.
On top of that... The support. Not only very quick to respond, but also attentive to detail, trying to understand the issue (unlike some other companies where they skim the text and offer a solution of a link to help pages that aren't even relevant), and not only help but also share useful knowledge.
Is Tarvent perfect? No. There are some glitches with the campaign editor, and navigation is sometimes frustrating given the size of the platform, but I still think that Tarvent deserves all five flavorful tacos. I hope it will grow and continue to improve, and I hope to stay with them for long years to come.

Incredible tool
I am loving Tarvent. Firstly, the UX is very intuitive when compared to other tools I've used in the past. For context, I'm not an email marketing expert, but I have figured out several things because each feature is well-planned.
For example, you must add your domain to send emails. A semi-technical person can figure it out independently, but Tarvent tries to provide instructions so that a non-technical person can also get the task done.
When I ran into roadblocks, they had great short videos that explained how to get everyday tasks done within the platform. And if you still need help, you can email the team. I've consistently had my questions answered within about one hour. A support team that supports is essential but unfortunately uncommon.
Lastly, my test email campaigns are landing in inboxes, not spam folders. An email marketing tool must pass this test to be worthwhile.
Given my experience with the tool thus far, I give it five stars.
