Okay, so it's not as feature rich as Wix, but it's simple and fast, and if you can navigate a word doc you can create a decent looking site with Website.im
I've also been impressed with the support — typically I get a response within 24hrs, and they've gone beyond to try and figure out what I'm struggling with. I see a few comments to the contrary, but my experience has been great. Again, generally better than my experience with Wix support.
In fact I've moved a bunch of sites off Wix over to IM. Clients are happy to keep paying monthly service and hosting fees, and yet I no longer have the inflated Wix fees to content with.
All this said, I wouldn't suggest building a complex eComm site with IM — Shopify if specifically built for that. But for quick marketing sites without too much complexity, this is perfect. And they do offer App integrations so you can go to town if you want — I tend to keep it fairly simple.
Though a hack that I've recently figured out if the HTML field in IM. You can paste in custom HTML to a content clock and with help from GPT or Claude, you can achieve a LOT! I've used it to bend the design and function of existing modules in IM, and it works a treat. Most recent site I did for a friend is www.rggcompany.com — this took very little time, and I used the HTML field to tidy a few things up for mobile.

I redeemed the coupon. Set up the website and was never able to change the Logo as this was for a paid up site. But I had paid for lifetime and it kept telling me to login, then redeem with the code. I did that. And still I was not on the lifetime site. Did this about 10 times. So wehy am I not on the lifetime site??????

I tried another AI builder (Butternut AI) and had to request a refund because the platform left a LOT to be desired. (limited design layouts and ZERO manual content editing options)

I needed to build two sites for our two annual events that are separate from our organization's main site. Our main site is a Wordpress site, but I just needed something quick and easy. I wanted to build something that is elegant and nice without the overhead of Wordpress since these are essentially "seasonal" sites.

The tool itself is pretty easy to use, the AI generation gave me a PERFECT base to work from and customize to my liking. I love that when I need/want to I can "get my hands dirty" working in the source code, and I love that I have options to embed code from other platforms (VolunteerMatch, Eventbrite, etc)

That's where my love affair ends.. Alas customer service is lacking to non-existent. 24 hour response?? In what universe? I have one question that I've been waiting THREE WEEKS for a response, and my last question just hit the 24 hour mark.. and welp.. NO RESPONSE!

This is unacceptable, and I'm seriously contemplating moving on and looking for another platform and asking for a refund. The tool is fab. The sites I built are perfect, and I am a power user who will RARELY if ever need to ask questions, but dang man, when I do ask a question I don't want to hear CRICKETS!

I have been so impressed with Website.IM I now have four websites on the service, and have recommended it to quite a few people (some of which I know have bought the deal).

However, this morning I discovered that all four of my sites have been taken over by someone else's website (eg. my domains are now pointing to a website.im site that does not belong to me). My friend is having the same problem on a totally separate account. I can only assume it is an issue across all website.im sites. Stuff happens, and I get that, but it has now been hours, and there has been no contact, no response to my help desk ticket or appsumo question. The sites are still stuffed. None of my content is in the backend - it is as if my sites have been wiped out and replaced with one specific site. This is totally unacceptable. This isn't just a small issue - it is affecting my businesses and no doubt the businesses of everyone who uses this service and needs to be urgently resolved. Seriously disappointed, concerned and unhappy!!!
