A: Hi, Tier 4 maps on the Teams plan with 10 seats at this moment.
We will also be introducing BYOK option at some point in the near future, so if search limits are your main concern, it might be worth waiting for that!
That’s great, while introducing BYOK, can you add Straico to that. Most of the Sumo members have that product and it can connect to almost all language models.
Would be glad to consider that. Could you drop an upvote & a comment with this request on the feature here: https://wonders.featurebase.app/p/byok-bring-your-own-key
Thanks for your suggestion!
Q: Does Wonders AI support Korean? If not, are there any plans to support it in the future?
A: Hi kkim, we do not support Korean at the moment, but would be happy to add it soon! Would you mind adding your request to our roadmap.readwonders.com? We can probably prioritize it to get it live within the next sprint!
Does Tier 1 includes PDF Imports/Exports? I have several PDFs that I would like to find information on, highlight and summarize it. If this option is available for Tier 1, what is the limit for both PDF import/export (pages, size)? Thanks.
A: Hi DayDreamer! Tier 1 includes exports and will include import also.
PDF upload (import) however is not yet available, and it is a feature that we'll be implementing in the near future. As such we don't yet have the specific on size limits. You can visit our roadmap.readwonders.com to see what's coming up and share your ideas on how you'd use it!
As a pharmacy wanting reliable and up-to-date academic access, we need to ensure the tool meets our research and compliance standards.
1 Which Open Access databases and sources do you index? 2 Do you include PubMed, Europe PMC, DOAJ, medRxiv, BioRxiv, and other major repositories? 3 Are peer-reviewed journal articles, clinical trial reports, and systematic reviews included? 4 Do you index or provide summaries of paywalled or subscription-only research (e.g., Elsevier, Springer, Wiley, NEJM, JAMA)? 5 How do you handle articles that are not Open Access—can I access abstracts, or just see citations? 6 How frequently is your database updated to include recent publications? 7 Do you have the capacity to deliver articles published in the last few weeks or months? 8 Will an future update allow us to upload our own PDF's/scientific papers?
A: Hi MenScript, happy to answer! We are developing Wonders to be suitable for PhD level workflows—with control & transparency being our top priorities.
1. We index pretty much all available OpenSource indexes. We also lean on semantic indexes, so our coverage is pretty broad.
2. Yes, all those should be included.
3. Yes, all these formats should be available, but you'll need to test out...
So I assume Wonders AI uses full text for open access papers, but for paywalled articles it relies only on the abstract and citation info. So answers from paywalled sources are limited since it only “knows” what’s reported in public fields since it cannot actually assess the full methodology, sample size details, exact results, or limitations, unless these are summarized in the abstract?
We're hoping to overcome this with PDF upload, institutional logins, subscription linking, and ability to purchase papers. But I can't promise exact timelines on this, as some of it is dependent on our growth and publishers willingness to collaborate.
Purchasing papers isn’t viable; uploading PDFs is essential. I may have another option, which I’ll email privately. I’ll test your service to see how it performs and if it is immune to hallucinations. PS: Please prioritize a “memory” function, as repeated mistakes are a major issue with academic AI tools and I've never encountered one that didn't require repeated adjustments.
Just to clarify, I’m not criticizing the tool—I just want to make sure I understand how it works and am aware of its limitations. Final question: If I point out that an answer provided is incorrect or incomplete, is Wonders AI able to adjust future responses based on this feedback, or does it treat each query independently? I.e does it have "memory"?
Understood. I appreciate you asking these questions—it clearly shows you know what you're doing, and helps us anticipate needs for the most rigorous use-cases.
Q: Hi, could you please clarify a few points about the Tier 1?
1. What exactly counts as one AI search? Is there an affordable option to buy extra (e.g., 50 searches) if needed, instead of waiting until next month?
2. Which features are missing from Tier 1 besides team-related ones?
3. Does Tier 1 include access to full PDFs or only abstracts?
4. Since patent search is included, would you consider adding publicly available whitepapers?
5. Can Tier 1 users save or re-run previous queries without using extra search credits?
6. Could you consider hosting tutorials on YouTube for better accessibility via auto-translations?
7. Could you elaborate on the academic sources and what percentage of the 500M documents they represent?
8. Will Wonders AI be able to monitor and suggest newly published studies related to what we save in our workspaces so that we can stay on top of future developments? Thanks!
1) An AI search equals one submitted search in a column or an edit. So if you have a search board with five columns and make 2 edits to each column, you will consume 10 searches
→ It's not yet available, but we're exploring ways to allow purchase of additional search credits to make this possible. I added your idea to our roadmap, feel free to support it:...
Thank you for the clarification. We hope monitoring new research will be added soon. We also noticed your responses to MenScript and hope memory features will be included. Both would greatly enhance Wonders AI’s value. If they were to be added, what do you think could be a realistic timeframe for their release?
No problem. I'm not sure what exactly do you mean by "memory". It might be worth clarifying that our workspaces are persistent and your content will be "in memory" there. Wonders is not a typical chatbot. We basically only use chat for retrieval of information—most of our workflow is done with other kinds of UI.
We have one researcher who reviews scientific papers almost daily, raising concerns about Tier 1’s credit limits, also as you mentioned it being for casual usage. The jump to Tier 2 is significant and includes seats and collaborative spaces we don’t need, making us unsure if Wonders AI fits our cost-benefit needs right now.
To be honest here, the Tier 2 seats and workspaces are only there to sweeten the deal. The search credits are really what drives our costs. We might in the future introduce other ways to top-up your credits, or even offer BYOK function so that you could plug your own AI model's API keys.
We’ll continue monitoring reviews, Q&A, and updates while considering our options. We already use Perplexity Pro and DocXter, so Wonders AI is appealing but we have budget constraints.
By the way, are there any plans to launch an affiliate program with recurring payments? If yes, any timeframe?
We are in fact planning to launch an affiliate program with recurring payments :) not yet sure on the exact timeline, but it might be in the next few months.
Than you for the detailed answers, Joe. With memory we were referring to "Final question: If I point out that an answer provided is incorrect or incomplete, is Wonders AI able to adjust future responses based on this feedback, or does it treat each query independently? I.e does it have "memory"?" from MenScript. Ability to remember context and objectives would be great.
Q: Is the Tier 4 plan mapped to the Pro unlimited plan mentioned on the website?
I purchased Tier 2, but after activation, your website shows it as a very limited version. Is Tier 4 similar to the "Wonder Pro unlimited plan"?

Each query is independent at the moment.
