Q: Confused by Voice Cloning claims. Can you please explain?
Hi. I am confused by what "Voice Cloning" means in this offer.
I am used to the term Voice Clone being used to describe the replication of one voice from audio so that the original speaker no longer has the need to speak.
The Voice Clone will take text inputs and then output a reading that mimics the sound of the original voice.
It seems to me that you are using the term Voice Clone to describe something called Audio Dubbing.
Audio Dubbing is a service to replace the original voice on video or in audio with another.
So, for example, if someone doesn't like the sound of their voice, they can use the voice of another actor to replace what they have said over their exact words.
I need to know about Xound's "Voice Cloning" features. What Voice Cloning features does Xound provide?
A: Thanks for the feedback—I’ll make sure to incorporate the more accurate term “voice dubbing” to avoid confusion going forward. Xound’s “Voice Cloning” / " Voice Dubbing" feature refers to replacing your original voice in an audio or video recording with a professional generated voiceover, selected from a variety of voices and languages. This process involves uploading your recording, enabling...
I have some videos that are 6 hours long I would love to use this tool on. Are there any limitations to how big of file can be uploaded or how long of a file can be uploaded?
Cloning your own voice is definitely something I’d like to offer as a feature—it could streamline a lot of workflows. That said, achieving high-quality, natural-sounding results requires a solid amount of training data (usually a few hours of clean recordings). It’s not trivial, but we’re actively exploring this and will keep pushing forward.
Q: Any plan to add more singers?

I have never tried it with such long recordings. If it doesn't work, you can cut the audio file. Up to 2 hours should work without any issues.
These are actually video files almost 5GB each.
Q: 🗣️Cloning your own voice
That would make work more efficient.
What do you think❓
