I don't get it. Is it a plugin or a theme? Cause I can download it from WP repository as a plugin, yet on the website you mention "theme live preview". Has the design been tested with major WP themes; avada, salient, the7 etc. I guess in a sentence, I'm trying to understand all that CSS is built in inside the plugin or once I install and activate on my own theme - it'll look horrible and unresponsive. What's the difference between the theme and plugin
A: Let me clarify the details for you: We have a core plugin, aDirectory, available on WordPress.org. In addition, we offer 10+ premium addons that enhance the functionality of our free plugin. We also provide premium themes.
When you purchase our product through AppSumo, you’ll receive access to all our premium themes and addons as part of the package.
In the WordPress ecosystem, our plugin addons are flexible and can be used independently with other themes. However, if you prefer, you can also use them seamlessly with our premium themes.
For further assistance, please refer to our documentation: https://adirectory.io/documentation/. Thanks
Can we add content on category pages to rank high? For an example in business directory, there's a category for "SEO Agency" and "PPC Agency". Can we add content on each of the category and then show listings beneath that?
A: Yes, I assume you’re referring to categories and subcategories. Let me clarify the scenario: You create a business directory, and under this directory type, you can add SEO Agency as a category. Within this category, you can add PPC Agency as a subcategory. When adding a listing, you’ll see these categories available for selection. If you assign a listing to these categories, the respective category archives will display those listings accordingly. Thanks
I would like know how Google seo friendly your directory plugin is. For example, if I create a directory that has an individual page on each of the cities tourist attraction, would each page has the ability to rank on a Google search (based on the optimized contents) ? I guess it would be have to be blog like. Does your plugin give the ability to add meta, title tags, url slugs, H1, H2, H3.., and links? Alt text image and page speed
A: In the WordPress ecosystem, SEO concerns are primarily handled by WordPress itself. However, our aDirectory plugin is also designed to optimize SEO performance effectively. Additionally, we offer features such as Google Schema Markup for listing pages to further enhance SEO performance and visibility.
A: Currently, this feature is not available in our product, but we are actively working on introducing an advanced listing import/export feature. In the upcoming update, you will have the ability to import cities along with their associated listings directly, rather than just importing cities alone. Stay tuned for the release! Thanks
A: Thank you for your question! Right now, you can create subcategories (e.g., Automotive → Dealership, Mechanic, etc.), but full functionality for managing and utilizing subcategories is currently in testing. This enhanced feature is expected to be available within the next two updates of the aDirectory plugin.
We sincerely appreciate your support and patience as we work to improve and expand our offerings!
