How do marketplace owners offer discounts, to generate new users. From what I can see, you can set up as many subscription plans as you like, but ALL of them show on the frontend of the site, with no ability to show and hide plans on the registration page?
This makes it impossible to create offers and deals to grow the business? Is there any way for marketplace owners to set up discount codes for subscriptions to bypass this issue? Being able to chose which plans are public facing would be preferable.
Purchasing a tier of the Dokan Cloud lifetime deal on AppSumo does not include access to the Dokan WordPress plugin. The current AppSumo offer is exclusively for Dokan Cloud, which is a standalone, cloud-hosted ecommerce platform designed for building single-vendor or multivendor stores without the need for WordPress or any plugins.
Dokan Cloud is partially GDPR compliant. I hope this clarifies our stand regarding GDPR compliance. # We provide data deletion, export for our direct customers. # We support a cookie banner for collecting consent from customers (to admins) Admins can create their own privacy, terms, gdpr agreement pages # We do not have any public page for declaring data storage and usage policy....
I'm really loving the platform so far. I’ve noticed that while vacation settings are visible in the admin dashboard, there doesn't seem to be any functionality attached to them. Without these vacation settings, shops will need to be switched off, and currently, there's no apparent way to do that. Can you confirm if introducing vacation settings is on the roadmap?
Currently, the vacation feature is unavailable in Dokan Cloud. As a result, you can only see this option in the filtering section, but vendors will not be able to access the vacation feature. However, vendors can still use the Store Opening and Closing functionality.
To access this feature, vendors can go to Vendor Dashboard > Settings > General >...
I like the way Dokan Cloud works. I’ve been exploring different options and themes, but Dokan only supports a few languages by default.
In Denmark, we don’t write prices like in English-speaking countries — for example, $45 becomes Kr45 or kr45 in the current Dokan setup. However, the correct Danish format is Kr. 45 or kr. 45 (with a space and a period). This might seem like a small issue, but it’s not. Danish users are very attentive to these details and may consider the site untrustworthy if the currency is formatted incorrectly. If prices don’t look local and familiar, many potential buyers will hesitate or abandon the purchase.
Another challenge is translating themes from English — it seems to require quite a lot of work!
Thank you for your feedback, and we're glad to hear that you're exploring Dokan Cloud!
We understand the importance of correct currency formatting and localization for your market. Unfortunately, the specific currency format for Denmark (Kr. 45 or kr. 45 with a space and a period) is not available in Dokan Cloud at this time. We are actively working...
Dokan support responds very quickly – thumbs up for that!
Unfortunately, they weren’t able to fix the issue with the Danish currency formatting – and I suspect other European countries might face similar problems.
I never received an answer to my question about translating from English to Danish.
So… I’ve requested a refund, but I’ll definitely keep an eye on Dokan Cloud – it’s very easy to use

Q: Clarification About Tier 7 – WordPress Plugin and Cloud Access
Dear Team,
I would like to kindly ask for clarification regarding the Tier 7 offer on AppSumo.
Is Tier 7 comparable to the Enterprise package on your official website?
I am very interested in purchasing Tier 7, but I couldn’t find any clear information confirming whether the WordPress plugin is included.
Ideally, I would like the flexibility to choose how I use the licenses — either on WordPress (for my clients) or on the cloud (for myself).
Could you please confirm if, with the Tier 7 purchase, I will have access to both options:
the WordPress plugin
and the cloud version?
Thank you so much for your support and clarification. I’m really looking forward to your response so I can proceed with the purchase.
Best regards, Florian
