For LinkedIn post, blog post and research report, can we prompt the system to write at grade 7 or 8 level? Also possible to write in UK English spelling?
- Add instruction: "Write a [LinkedIn post/blog post/research report] about [topic/theme] aimed at a Grade 7-8 reading level. Use UK English spellings (e.g., 'colour' instead of 'color', 'organisation' instead of 'organization'). Ensure the content is clear, concise, and easy to understand by: 1. Also, will we be able to load a bunch of documents so that the system can use it as reference for writing style instead of choosing an existing LinkedIn profile like Justin Welsh or Jasmin Alic?
Also, can we use the same bunch of document as writing style reference for writing blog post or research reports?
For LinkedIn profiles, can we choose our own profile to use as reference? i.e., copy and paste the URL of the LinkedIN profile we want to use as writing style reference.
Yes. Since you are new on the platform, please email us at angelina@oscr.tech and we'll grant you testing credits for exploration! We are also working on pricing revamp - this together with feature roadmap will take a bit longer. Thank you for your (and everyone's) patience!
Re - Create your own style for post gen - Blogpost already has this feature - you can create your style by sharing...
We would structure our posts: 1. Introductory paragraph written by OSCR 2. 600-1000 summary of the linked content, length depends on length of original content. 3. Link to original content 4. Link to home page for the site where the original content is found.
Is this currently possible on all tiers? If not, if I pasted the content into OSCR, could it do the rest?
Based on my understanding, you can do this: 1. prompt oscr to generate an intro paragraph, limit words - use prompts like "aim for 200 words", and emphasize that "this should serve as an intro paragraph and no need for expansion or conclusions". Even better if you include a bit more context what you want to talk about in the blog. Also, I suggest write the rest of the blog first, then...
yes. you can use webhook to connect to your backend, and then your team can polish it. If you couldn't find how to do this, please schedule a time with us and we can see what we can help: https://calendly.com/angelina-oscr/30min
Q: Data Sources
Hi there, I understand you have sources from "4,500 news sites, 20,000 publishers, and 3.7 million videos". And you mentioned Google search and Google news. Is it possible to include authority sites from government agencies? For example, US Treasury, US Department of Justice, or from other countries such as European Banking Authority or UK Financial Conduct Authority.
This will help create specialised or expert content for our audience.
Please advise if you can tap into RSS feeds or email subscriptions from those authorities. For example, when the government entity may publish a new report or guidance, are you able to capture that in real-time or within that day to enable us to be the first person to talk about it in our article? So I'm referring to the access to those updates and also the speediness in which I can publish.
Great question and great feedback! Yes we are working on RSS feeds. Would you be open to meet with us and tell us more on the RSS feeds you want to use and your specific use cases? We can build the workflow and user experience based on your feedback.
If you are open to it, please schedule a time with us here: https://calendly.com/angelina-oscr/30min
