Great Tool! Ignore Negative Review!

Firstly, I usually take my time to try out tools before writing reviews. Many negative reviews come from people who haven't gone through the available tutorial resources or who haven’t used the tool correctly or had the patience to learn it. Personally, I've had no issues with support; they have always responded to me and been helpful. Just keep in mind that if you are in the US, you may not receive an immediate response since they are based in Europe, which has a different time zone. I really like this platform. It has some areas for improvement and features that could be added, such as an internal team chat system, the ability to create invoices for clients, storing client answers in a table like Google Sheets, adding more templates, and increasing storage limits etc, so im hopeful they will add these features in the future.

Refunding - clients need to sign up to a Superokay account to update project status!

How can it be my client portal if my client has to sign up to Superokay to update a project?

This is my quickest refund in nearly 800 AppSumo purchases.

I rarely refund, but this misses the entire point of why I want a client portal.

My clients will have to assess Superokay for confidentiality, security, financial soundness and functionality before signing up.

Superokay will likely fail that assessment, given most of my clients’s specifications and I look like a muppet.

Give me a truly white label solution, where I take that risk.

AppSumo, who do you have testing these products before offering them to us?

Super okay, please add guest accounts within our accounts, that can update project status or, if I have got it wrong, correct your support responses please.

Sorry this seems like a misunderstanding. They don't need to sign up, they just need to sign in once you invite them to the portal. Otherwise the security of their account would be compromised. Access to their account containing confidential information has to be protected by signing in.
Alternatively you could set you login with magic link and then set it so it doesn't expire. That means that...

Not For Videographers

While the app isn't exactly what I consider intuitive, and doesn't have the most visually appealing portal - with enough fumbling around it can be useable.

That is unless you are in the video production industry. The max file size for upload is 125mb, making it not the right fit for collecting and delivering video assets.

The reason for the 1 taco is because this isn't mentioned anywhere on their site and could have saved me a few days working on setting the system up.

Edit to the response: if you didn't intend for videographers to be your clients it may be helpful to remove Video Production as a use-case.

Also having verbiage :

"Our Client Portals allow you to upload every folder, file and document to the same place and never need to go looking for stray emails or slack attachments ever again. All your project information in one place!" should at minimum have an asterisk with the file size limitations.

I just believe it would save a lot of time for those not suitable for your product.

It's true we never expected videographers to be our customers. We advertise mostly to digital agencies and they never run into this issue of file size limitation. The limitation is mentioned in our support materials and in the YouTube videos, I'm so sorry this key information was not more obviously on display.

Awesome client portal experience.

I am using this to manage my insurance clients.
Very smooth login experience and the dashboard looks great.
I had some trouble initially with customizations, but now that I'm getting the hang of it, it's very versatile.
I just figured out that I can embed my custom apps into the dashboard!
I am embedding custom trained chat bots (Pickaxe!) to answer questions, and add value to my agency.

Form templates look great and there's a lot of potential there.
Overall the app looks and feels great.
